out of the strong came something sweet ...

I was reading Judges 13-14 this morning in the bus on the way to school .. it was about Samson .. it was this part that actually struck me .. Samson threw a riddle to the Philistines during the 7 days of his wedding celebration n whoever who solved the riddle will be given 30 fine linen robes and 30 sets of festive clothings .. n if the riddle could not be solved, the Philistines will have to do otherwise ..

Judges 14:5-6
As Samson and his parents were going down to Timnah, a young lion suddenly attacked Samson near the vineyards of Timnah. At that moment the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him, and he ripped the lion's jaws apart with his bare hands.

Judges 14:8-9
Later, when he returned to Timnah for the wedding, he turned off the path to look at the carcass of the lion. And he found that a swarm of bees had made some honey in the carcass. He scooped some of the honey into his hands and ate it along the way.

The riddle (Judges 14:14) derived from his experience :

"Out of the one who eats came something to eat;
out of the strong came something sweet."

Judges14:18
So before sunset of the seventh day, the men of the town came to Samson with their answer:

"What is sweeter than honey?
What is stronger than a lion?"

This has reminded me how GOD has been to us ... GOD ALMIGHTY is indeed one supernatural being with so much strong (which is even stronger than the lion) infinite points in HIM - that's what make us GOD fearing ... but, on the strong side of HIM .. let's be reminded also that our GOD has also HIS soft and gentle side in which in this walk with HIM; we have experienced the sweetest things that HE has done for us and is doing for us and it's even sweeter than honey ..
