Back to Basic

Christianity 101 ? Walking back to our Christian life... the day that you took the step of faith when you first say ‘YES’ to HIM ... Many of times, we tend to look elsewhere and other solutions when we at met we troubles ... and, create a great ball of fuss and stress within us ...

I realised when I’m beat with troubles ... I franticly searched and fussed for a solution, trying to make enough sense in whatever solution I came out with that will just take away my troubles ... And, all these solution would not get me anywhere and sometimes it became worst ... coming to my wits end, i start turning to GOD - GOD just come and sweep all your fuss and worries clean... And bring you the top-class solution to our troubles...

Then I thought to myself ... why has GOD become my last resort to all my worries and troubles? But, in fact GOD should be the first one we should go to in times of troubles... because HE knows us...

A lot of times, we want to rely and depend on our own strength because we are afraid that when we come before GOD for that problem or request ... we feared that they could not take the outcome or results that GOD have for us, whilst some others might think they do not want to trouble GOD with their nitty-critty problems ...

GOD already knows what is coming in front of us – our current, our present and our future ... what you will be doing every minute and every second of our lives ... and, one thing with GOD, HE wouldn’t let us handle something that’s way beyond our might unless HE has prepared you for it; because HE loves us too much to see us suffer...

So, look back at the first day ... when you said YES to GOD ... and this is the TRUST that will sweep away all your fuss and worries ... because we have an awesome GOD who opens the door every time we knock on it =)

Psalm 9:10
Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.

Jeremiah 17:7-8
"But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."
